My first Wednesday night class, in fall 2015, stands out in my memory as a defining moment in the development of my confidence as an aspiring acroyogi. I nearly managed a jump into handstand for the first time, which I didn't think I was capable of yet, physically or mentally. The dedication of the other people sharing the class was truly inspiring. Unfortunately, I was swept up with studies shortly thereafter, and have only recently rejoined classes at The Place. I look forward to these evenings because they strike such a great balance between playfulness and challenge, between focus on particular skills and variety of movement. The energy of the class is compassionate, and I find myself feeling very comfortable even far outside my comfort zone, eager to try new things without fear of failure or embarrassment. I would quickly recommend attendance to both new learners and seasoned jammers.
