Service Description

Handstands & Flexibility for Acro 6 Week Course Runs on Sundays from 3.15-4.15pm This course is beginners and improvers friendly. BEGINNERS AcroYoga involves more than one person, and therefore there are many different ingredients that we are mixing into the cake. Learning and refining some core elements of your individual practice, such as handstands and range of movement mean that you will have more success in most elements of your combined practice. You will still work in partnership with others, as this provides a fantastic feedback loop to accelerate your learning. If you are comfortable going upside down you will be able to explore many more transitions with ease. IMPROVERS This is the sort of course that you can do time and again, as the fundamentals of the practice can always be refined. Learning to balance your handstand will help you balance someone else on your hands. We will also be focusing on Acro related drills, so if you are ready for it you can focus on H2H work. It takes a lot of strength to handstand and it will likely challenge your range of movement too. This can be refined over years, and it can be really interesting to look at before and after shots of someone who has done committed work on their straight line handstand. 🤸‍♀️ We love it if you come as a pair because this means that you might practice between sessions too. If you do come as a pair, please also be prepared to work outside your partnership as this will likely fast track your learning as certain things are far easier with different body types. We love it if you come along on your own, as this shows courage which is a positive mindset that helps everything around you grow.
