Correction “I’ve not really looked at his recorded classes

Thanks Benny but I have so many lesson plans back to 15 years ago I don’t think I’ll have time to review make comments. I useto plan lessons but now I just have a theam and tend to get a feel of a ckass and run with it but still always take a plan as a back up. I’ve noticed really looked at his recorded classes except one of his HS but a nice idea for people who do to refer to re contents xxxx

What did you do before and what made you decide at 32. Why torturous and were was the luck? Think jesse did one year in phycology ? Saying that I was 47 when I decided to do a degree in social work snd 50 when I started practicing so you were a spring chicken. I like playing guess what they do and had you down as an accountant or art dealer. What did you do before being a clinical pycoligist. I’ve had quite a lot of experience re MH working in hospitals and did a stint in a rehabilitation house were they come out after being mostly sectioned and learn independent living skills but mostly asylum seekers or unaccompanied minors who suffer from PTSD. Also as many people lots in direct family as a kid. I think people who have gone through mental health problems often are the best qualified to help once they have had some training and think there is a move towards this much more now. Finally I don’t think enough is done to support and help people living with people with MH as often they are the victims of all types of abuse and don’t get the support and also far to much buracracy to get support. Corona has also been another barrier for many people trying to get support. I still do bits of work volunteering

Just listened to all of both. Nice to re Ist all the different theories etc attachment and UPR used a lot in social work and behaviourism in advertising ( basically getting into the minds of people to sell them crap they don’t need) I liked the bit re Ruchard school report “far to interested in pycology for his own good” and the awful traumatic even if his brother dying But confused how Peter was a refugee aged 15 but had parents in France who sent him over gear as usually they are classified as unaccompanied minors from counties re torture against human rights etc but maybe it was different then. CBT is the trendy ones but I also liked task centered and use a lot then and still to help people but also a bit of matalisation. I’m a shit righter but did my dissertation on “do people with dyslexia have a pre dispotion to crime” partly as they fail the education system and deviate to crime but also they don’t like rules and they have creative lateral ways of getting round things” thanks Jack for sharing x
